President Joe Biden recently visited Troy and the Lockheed Martin facility, which manufactures weapons for the war in Ukraine. Two Troy University students reported on the presidential visit for Trojanvision news and the campus newspaper. Producer Kameron Banks asked them what it was like to be in the press pool.And, Professor Robbyn Taylor has served Troy’s Hall School of Journalism and Communication in a variety of roles over the years, and now, she’s becoming its director. Just in time for National Poetry Month, Troy University’s English Department and the honor society Sigma Tau Delta have hosted a poetry reading, where everyone is invited to participate. Troy Public Radio’s Adam Kennedy II read a poem and also reports!And, TROY students aren’t the only ones celebrating National Poetry Month. As producer Conner Howell reports, a member of the University Administration won an award in a state-wide competition and was featured in a program that aired on Alabama Public Television.
