The Talk of TROY - ”Remembering Lamar Higgins & Archaeology Lecture Series” - September 30th, 202

This week, we look back at the life and impact of Lamar Higgins, the first African American to be president of Troy University’s Student Government Association and later a member of the Board of Trustees.
And, the Troy University Anthropology Club is co-hosting a five-part lecture series featuring archaeology professionals. The series will aim to increase awareness about local archaeological excavations and clear up some misconceptions about the field, as TROY Public Radio’s Jaelanne Thomas reports.
