As Host Marissa Lacey tells us, Troy University's International Arts Center is featuring the work of graduating seniors, including an exhibit featuring a colorful wizard comic book.
And, we’re starting a new series called “The Trojan Minute” which gives you a glimpse at what is happening in the research labs and classrooms at Troy University. This time, we hear from Biologist and Professor Jacqueline Jones, who is working to lower the number of cancer related deaths that happen each year.

President Joe Biden has declared Juneteenth a federal holiday. In Montgomery, Troy University and the Rosa Parks Museum will host an in-person Juneteenth Block Party with food and vendors.
And, Troy University is creating a new scholarship in honor of its first black board of trustees member, Lamar Higgins, who died earlier this year.

Troy University is launching a new program to highlight the importance of leadership: "Lead Change." One recent event in Birmingham allowed prospective students to seek guidance from a dream advisor.
And, fourteen years ago, TROY music industry program director Robert W. Smith and his colleagues started an independent label for his students called Ilium Records.
